Highly caffeinated, slightly insane 40-something muses about a mish mosh of things that deal with living in L.A, attempting to age gracefully without plastic surgery, working in a cubicle, POLITICS, stupidity-by-choice, being a middle-aged college student, the entitlement issues of the L.A. wanna-be elite run amok... Oh, and I periodically channel hack noir novelists of the 40's.
One of the great things about living in L.A. is that the average length of a friendship is only 6 months. This makes it possible to adopt any persona, personality profile, profession or past that one may desire, and the people one meets will freely and willingly accept it....Until they do a background check.
Hello out there. Greetings from St. Louis. If any who read this have a moment to send some positive thoughts to my sis who went under anesthesia 53 minutes ago and will be in surgery for another 6 to 8 hours - I would be truly grateful. I love her more than life.
